2019 is coming to an end very soon, and this is the time we remember the New Years’ resolutions we made one year prior. I hope many of you have been able to keep to some of those resolutions. If not, welcome to the club of procrastinators. The problem with New Year’s resolutions is that we shoot for the moon in terms of grandness. Getting a beach body ready by summer or giving up sugar are somewhat daunting tasks to complete. The best way to accomplish the resolutions we make is to break them down into steps and to tackle them one by one over a period of time. Your skincare resolutions can be broken down into smaller steps that can make 2020 the year you love your skin by following our simple skin care routine.

Here are some resolutions that are easy to keep, and the longer you stick to them, the better your skin looks.

1. Wear Sunscreen!!

If you take any of the following resolutions seriously, this is the one we recommend you follow in our simple skin care routine. Studies show that daily use of sunscreen helps keep your skin looking young and helps fight skin cancer. UVA rays penetrate deeper into your skin and can cause skin aging and skin cancer. UVA damage is not reversible, and we must protect ourselves at all times of the year from these rays. Keep a tube of at least SPF 30 handy so that you can reapply often.

2. Sleeping with your makeup on is a terrible decision!

Falling asleep before washing off your makeup causes dirt, oils, and makeup to seep into your skin. We understand coming home from a late-night, and you do not feel like taking off your makeup, and your routine will take too long.
